My son and I spent the better part of of the day last Saturday cleaning out the old tool/pump shed. It’s a very small building, perhaps the size of small bathroom. It was originally built to cover and protect the well head and since a farm can’t afford to let any space go to waste, it was turned into a tool shed and storage for miscellaneous parts and odds and ends. The auction company pretty much cleaned out anything of value after my father passed away, which meant that there was still about two tons of assorted junk hidden away in that little building. We want to reinforce the structure and insulate it, which means everything has to be cleaned out. What a job! My son Steve has been working on the project on and off, and already has about 20 hours into sorting through all of the junk, and we both tackled it last Saturday because we want to get it done before the snow flies.
